courtesy to simplyrecipes.com Greetings from KameLo :) Today we will be sharing with you our  favourite pumpkin pie recipe in the celebration of September  🍂 | INGREDIENTS | 2 eggs plus the yolk of a third egg 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar 1/3 cup white sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons of cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamon 1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest 2 cups of pumpkin pulp purée from a sugar pumpkin* OR 1 15-ounce can of pumpkin purée (can also use puréed cooked butternut squash) 1 1/2 cup heavy cream or 1 12 oz. can of evaporated milk 1 good crust * To make pumpkin purée from scratch, cut a medium-small sugar pumpkin in half. Greetings from KameLo :) Today we'd like to share with you a Sticky Date Pudding recipe with Caramel Sauce. (Recipe courtesy to taste.com.au) Picture from: taste.com.au   INGREDIENTS Batter: - 1 cup pitted dates, chopped - 1/2 cup water - 1/2 cup orange juice - 1 tsp bi-carb soda - 80 g butter, cubed and softened - 3/4 cup brown sugar - 2 extra large eggs - 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour - 1 tsp cinnamon Caramel Sauce - 1 cup brown sugar - 125 g butter, cubed - 200 mL Cream - 1 cinnamon stick METHOD 1.  Pre-heat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).  Line a 5cm deep, 20cm x 20cm oven tray with baking paper.  Place dates, water and orange juice in a small saucepan.  Bring to the boil, stir in the bi-carb soda, remove from heat and set aside. 2.   Using electric beaters, combine butter and sugar  in a mixing bowl until pale and creamy.  Add eggs one at a time, in...

Greetings from KameLo :) Today we'll be sharing with you our favourite peach pie recipe for you to try before summer is over! Courtesy to allrecipes.com Ingredients - 1 package pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie - 1 egg, beaten - 5 cups sliced peeled peaches - 2 tbsp lemon juice - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour - 1 cup white sugar - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon - 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp salt - 2 tbsp butter Directions 1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. 2. Line the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate with one of the pie crusts. Brush with some of the beaten egg to keep the dough from becoming soggy later. 3. Place the sliced peaches in a large bowl, and sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix gently. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Greetings from KameLo :) Today we will be sharing our favorite pecan pie recipe to share with your friends and family Ingredients 1 3/4 cups white sugar 1/4 cup dark corn syrup 1/4 cup butter 1 tbsp cold water 2 tspn cornstarch 3 eggs 1/4 tspn salt 1 tspn vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter, water, and cornstarch. Bring to a full boil, and remove from heat. 3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Gradually beat in cooked syrup mixture. Stir in salt, vanilla, and pecans. Pour into pie shell. 4. Now that spring is here with summer heading our way, it is the perfect weather to have a barbecue party with your family and friends. Grilling the perfect isn't as difficult as you think. Here's how you can achieve a juicy, grilled steak right from your own grill. Preparing the meat First, choose your meat . For grilling, choose a steak that is at least 1 and half inches thick with enough marbling in the meat. This way your steak will turn out tender and juicy. Marbling means the fat in the meat is dispersed throughout the steak evenly which enhances the flavor of the meat.  Now it's time to trim the meat . Cut off the excess fat while still leaving some for flavor. Removing too much fat will make your steak dry and tough. Before grilling the meat, make sure it is brought to room temperature .
