How to Keep Cool on Your Worksite this Summer

Image
Welding and construction sites can get  extremely hot during the summer seasons. Here are some tips on how you can  stay cool this summer on your work site! Choose the right fabric. Make sure the gloves you are using this summer are made with HPPE such as TenActiv ™ or Dyneema ® fiber. HPPE has a naturally cool feel to it and is lighter than para-aramid fibers such as Kevlar ®. If you're using leather welding gloves, make sure they have 100% cotton lining so that they will absorb any sweat. At the end of the day, it is always good to turn the cuffs inside out so that air can get into the  gloves  to dry any moisture. This will prevent any    unpleasant smell  or bacteria from forming . Take advantage of arm sleeves. Arm protection has become very popular not only in the working industry, but also in outdoor activities. In the summer months, it is difficult to protect our arms since our sleeves get shorter.
