Benefits of Cotton

Image
Greeting from KameLo :) Did you know that KameLo only uses  100% cotton lining in our gloves? Here's a post on the benefits of using cotton fabric. Cotton fabric is breathable and transmits  moisture away from the body. It is absorbent and removes liquid from the skin. Cotton allows you to remain comfortable as you do your activities, keeping moisture from building up between your skin and clothing. Especially with gloves, it is difficult to prevent  perspiration in your hands while you work. That is why we use 100% cotton lining in our gloves to absorb any moisture for the comfort of the worker. Also, since cotton is breathable material that transmits moisture away, it allows comfort to the wearer while on the job. Another benefit of cotton is that  it is strong, tough, and durable. You can rely on it to last a long time. It is easy to wash and care for compared to  other fabrics. KameLo gloves with...

How to Keep Cool on Your Worksite this Summer

Welding and construction sites can get  extremely hot during the summer seasons. Here are some tips on how you can  stay cool this summer on your work site! Choose the right fabric. Make sure the gloves you are using this summer are made with HPPE such as TenActiv ™ or Dyneema ® fiber. HPPE has a naturally cool feel to it and is lighter than para-aramid fibers such as Kevlar ®. If you're using leather welding gloves, make sure they have 100% cotton lining so that they will absorb any sweat. At the end of the day, it is always good to turn the cuffs inside out so that air can get into the  gloves  to dry any moisture. This will prevent any    unpleasant smell  or bacteria from forming . Take advantage of arm sleeves. Arm protection has become very popular not only in the working industry, but also in outdoor activities. In the summer months, it is difficult to protect our arms s...
